Visit our Beautiful National Parks on the Caribbean Coast

Hike and swim in one of Costa Rica's most beautiful

beachfront national parks in Puerto Viejo

Manzanillo National Park

Manzanillo is located 6 km south of Uva Blue Jungle Villas. The city at the ‘end of the road’.

On the main road turn right. When you drive into Manzanillo beach road, you will find the park entrance at the very end of the beach road. Beautifully located next to the stunning white sand and palm tree beaches in Manzanillo. Entrance is simply a donation to the park.

Cahuita National Park

Take the local bus or your car just north of Puerto Viejo about 30 min. Cahuita National park is one of the best spots on the Caribbean coast. It has a huge range of wildlife to see and stunning scenery to explore. If you access the park from the entrance closest to Puerto Viejo – in the town of Cahuita – the entrance fee is simply a donation to the park.

The hiking trails in both National parks, which run along the coast, provide you with the opportunity to see a huge number of Costa Rica’s native animals in their natural habitat. Monkeys, sloths, coatis, crabs, tree frogs, and SO MANY BIRDS are in abundance and easy to spot with the naked eye.
